Independence, and its significance on national architecture
"...At the stroke of the midnight hour.. when the world sleeps, India will wake to the light of freedom."

These lines are quoted from the speech of India's first Prime minister, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru at the historic midnight session of the Indian Parliament.
I have a question, in the past 58 years, has Indian architecure, really enlightened the "world" or is it lost in the "glare" of the world? Please comment

india as country, yet is getting recognition in world,certain consumer culture and technological advaces has produced the architecture in the past century worth appriciation in the world,yes few indian architects has adopted them in india as well shined in the idiom of world architecture of past century but i am sure that new breed of young indian architects in future decades shall out-shine in the world as indian style,it is yet to emerge.vidhu have a heart and waite.
