Contextual architectural expression
What exactly is contextual architectural expression?

If I am designing a building, say in one of the states of India, then would using or abstracting the forms of earlier famous buildings in the same region convey the expression?

Or would using the same materials and textures as were used before give the expression?

contextual in architecture has lot to establish with relative, say relative spaces should have contextuality in the sense should have easy flow.abstracting or merging forms can be contextual if it can establish a point of referance for spacific purpose.so contextuality in architecture should have punch elements in short ,we have contextual summary in books.
