Topic for Debate

Special economic zone (SEZ) development
Dear all,

Just wanted to know in detail about the subject of SEZ (Special Economic Zone) development. How willing are goverment bodies to help in developing such areas, and how does one define such areas? What kind of development cannot be considered under this title?

Special economic zone (SEZ) development
Dear Ojas,

SEZ, or special economic zones, are determined areas or regions with special laws and regulations that aim to enhance economic capability in that zone by attracting different economic activities and investments thereto.

I advise you to have a look at the following site:

www.aqabazone.com

It is a new, successful experiment begun five years ago in Jordan, and actually all indicators show the progressive [nature of] and success of this experiment.

For more details or any help about our zone, "ASEZA," I am ready to help.
