I am an architect with 3 years' experience. I am not interested in working for somebody else; I want to start my own practice.
As far as practice goes, I am exposed to the projects on site, but there are some paperwork and start-from-scratch issues for any project.
For example, to get sanctioned, etc., I am confused for the beginning. I need help.
Starting up a sole proprietorship
Go to the city hall where you're at. You will need to fill some paper work; you'll roll by yourself after that. They will tell you what you need. I think you also need to have the AIA certificate or work with someone who has that in order to pass city codes for buildings. Good luck.
