New UNESCO World Heritage Site: Champaner
Friends,

Finally the government of India has officailly opened up the historic archaeological site of 'Champaner' at an official function at the site yesterday, by the hands of the Hon. President of India Mr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

I hope and pray that the site is now maintained, as it is a one-of-a-kind specimen of Indo-Islamic Architecture.

New UNESCO World Heritage Site: Champaner
Hallo, Haseeb,

It's true that the site had a grand function yesterday. In fact there were aefforts by groups of people to get it recognised as a site of heritage importance at UNESCO to be preserved as a world heritage monument, particularly the architect Karan Grover and like-minded scholars.

Yesterday's event had 25 years of hard work behind it. The development needed there is also a very important factor to be considered now.

Contribute positive feedback after visiting, so that future development can be accomplished.
