If we have, in Qasr al-Ban�t, a production of the ninth century, it is a very original plan (four iwans) for this time. But how can we think that the muqarnas can be from this period? Kasim Toueir wrote it in a ctalogue of exhibition on Syria in the IMA in Paris (1992).

It would be the first one in the world..? I can't agree with this idea.
