Niharika, Try visualising your chosen site as though it was a series of film sets which visitors journey through.

Or to use a more traditional context, the way in which Landscape garden designers in the 17th and 18th centuaries used existing vistas or created vistas by remodelling the landscape to show long (macro) views and provide winding paths with series of micro views framed by plants. :)))

Niharika, Try surfing for "landscape gardening and gardens" in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries in England, France and Italy. Although, continental European gardens tend to be more formal with all year planting.

And another source to research would be Chinese and Japanese gardens.
