Seeking Guidance

Thesis : Mountaineering Institute
I'm a final year student of B.Arch. doing my thesis on Mountaineering Institute, Tawang(Ar.Pr.) The objective of my project is to create an institution that provides training for adventure sports, mountaineering specially; and develop the campus in order to give an experience of trekking. Along with this, I'm planning to design a Heritage Village(sort of) to accommodate the visitors in order to encourage tourism.
I've read about Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, which would be a good case study I suppose. This sport is my passion, that's the main reason for taking this as my thesis topic.

Could anyone help me with the data collection required for it, standards, etc.? Also any suggestions regarding the project...!!
Thank you..

Ambuj, Mountaineering (or mountain-climbing) is the most extreme form of exercise in mountains, but for wider appeal you should also consider the lesser forms of hill-walking, orienteering and trekking.

Thanks Frank!! I'll keep that in mind. If you can you suggest some reference books or any material of the sort that throws some light on the design aspect of the training institute for the sport in question, i.e. mountaineering.

Ambuj, You should be able to find websites for mountaineering, etc and you might like to consider the sport of Caving or Spelunking which is underground rock climbing.
