Please forgive my ignorance, but I am wondering if anyone can tell me during which restoration of the Great Mosque of Cordoba pedestals (stylobates) on the columns were added. It appears that the columns included under al-Hakam II's restoration/renovation do NOT have them, but I want to double-check. Thanks for any possible insight into this matter.

Julia, have you tried the archive section of the national library in Spain?
I assume that any papers and books not disposed of by the Inquistion as being heretical would have been kept.
