The sports hall is the first building on a site intended by the Noor-e-Mobin NGO to become an educational institute. Based on the tapered-member frame that is typically used for low-cost structures in Iran, a few design modifications have added architectural interest. The exterior wall covering is of aluminium sandwich panels, making the construction faster and cheaper and providing good insulation. The interior is opened to the landscape by using wide double-glazed strips, allowing daylight to enter and permitting views of the natural scenery. Local labourers were employed for its construction, and the students who are to use it also participated in the early phases.
