Response to will information technology alter our defination of space?
I think that the concepts of space and time are scientific notions. With advances in science as a result of experiment and/or discovery, I think the level of our understanding of space, our comprehension of space phenomenon_ the viewpoint may change.

our perception will certainly change...but it will not be due to the IT. it will be due to our changing lifestyle and needs ( of which IT may be a contributor)
but certainly IT will be a great tool to enhance our perception and understanding of spaces. if used properly, It will actually help us optimize the usage of spaces!
we have to be really honest and careful in harmonizing the virtual with the actual, this is yet in our hand, as the IT is in its infancy and in virtual reality we are still not its slave!
lets design IT in a way so that it is always a reflection of real and not a mere deceptive illusion.
