James Mollison Wilson

James Mollison Wilson was a Scottish architect who became Iraq's first Director of Public Works in 1920. Before this appointment, he had been the Deputy Director of Civil Works in Baghdad, and had worked under Sir Edwin Lutyens in New Delhi. His buildings include the Al al-Bayt University in Baghdad, and many works for the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company.
