This books tells the story of the the late King Faisal's farmhouse in al-'Udhaibat. It was acquired by H.R.H. Prince Sultan bin Salman Al Sa'ud in 1986 in terrible condition. It was a badly neglected mud-brick ruin. No longer maintained, it was slowly and quietly slipping from memory. The attempt to renovate and restore this modest farmhouse is described in full detail and documented in drawings and photographs. Both the Arabic and English versions of the book are available on Archnet thanks to the kind generosity of the Al-Turath Foundation.
