The roza of Shaykh ibn ‘Abd-Allah al-Idrus (or al-Aydrus) is
located on the border of the Kalupur and Gheekanta neighorhoods, near the
center of the historic walled city of Ahmedabad. Its namesake is Sayyid Shams
al-Shamas Shaykh ibn ‘Abd-Allah al-Idrus, a holy man who died in 1623 CE. The
tomb is a domed cube with three archways supported on columns on all four sides.
These arches are covered with carved marble screens.
