Supara Ethno Complex
Kök-Jar, Kyrgyzstan
Construction of the complex promotes cultural zone in the architectural and urban planning of the rural area, encourages engagement of the younger generation to the cultural heritage of Kyrgyz people, and provides the local population with work places. Landscape in a seismic zone implicates use of lightweight construction. Traditional methods of construction of portable housing of nomads and stone structures were used during the building of the complex.
