Maurice Novarina

Maurice Novarina is a French architect, urban planner, was born in Thonon-les-Bains, in Haute-Savoie, in what is now the French Alps. He died on September 2002 in the same town. He has degrees from École spéciale des travaux publics (ESTP) and the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts (ENSBA), and practiced from 1933-2002. His first project was the Église Notre-Dame du Léman in Vongy. He was a prolific architect, responsible for numerous municipal buildings, churches, and the Olympic Village in Grenoble (1965). He designed the Riyadh Television Center in Saudi Arabia with his son, Patrice Novarina.
