Danyal Ahmed is an architect and a painter from Lahore, Pakistan. He holds a professional degree and a masters in architecture both from University of the Punjab, Lahore. On the basis of exceptional academic record he was awarded with a Gold Medal from University of the Punjab, Lahore and Mehdi Ali Mirza Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence by Institute of Architects Pakistan in 2013. He is professionally affiliated with Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) and Institute of Architects Pakistan (IAP) and has a number of internationally published papers and national exhibitions to his credits.

Danyal Ahmed practices architecture under the title of Danyal Ahmed Architects based in Lahore with the pioneering aim of documenting, regenerating and establishing a relationship between present day contemporary and historically significant architectural heritage of Pakistan – a specialism that is in its infancy in Pakistan. In due course, he has also presented proposals of regeneration of historically significant city center districts of The Mall – established by the British during The Raj in Punjab (1849-1947) and architectural conservation proposal of Haveli Nau Nihal Singh that was commissioned by Maharaja Ranjit Singh for his grandson Maharaja Nau Nihal Singh in 1836-37 during the Sikh period (1799-1849) in Punjab.
