Kamil Chadirji was an Iraqi politician and leader of the National Democratic Party. Chadirji came from a prominent political family, his father serving as mayor of Baghdad toward the end of the Ottoman period. Kamil served in parliament from 1927 into the 1930s and as minister of works from 1936-1937. One of Kamil's sons, Rifat Chadirji, became an influential modern architect of international renown.
