Situated on a coastal town south of Beirut, this beach house for a family of four is an arrangement of four volumes, layered in a way that creates a rhythmic composition. Each volume has a separate function and their overall composition works to create transitions between the public and private spaces of the project. All the living functions are positioned on ground level with a direct relation to the landscape. The sloping topography of the site embraces the villa, with cantilevered platforms over rectangular box shapes and a thick but porous U-shaped wall that wraps around the land and opens the view towards the sea.
