<a href="http://archnet.org/authorities/2852" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Paul Servant</a>&nbsp;had an apartment in this building, originally named rue Foucauld, named after the French explorer and Catholic saint <a href="https://archnet.org/authorities/10018" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Charles de Foudauld</a>. At the time of its construction, the building was alone in the area.
