Graçanica Hotel
Pristina, Kosovo
Fifteen minutes from Pristina, 500 metres from Graçanica and its UNESCO World Heritage Site monastery, and a short walk to the Roman archaeological site of Ulpiana, this 16-room hotel provides guests with their own unique paths towards their rooms. Some have to walk though courtyards, others through different special areas, and some take a brief walk outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The modern architecture relies, with the collaboration of Kosovar craftsmen, on the traditional materials of wood, stone and textiles being used in new forms. Terrazzo is used for all inside and outside flooring accentuating the blending of inside and outside spaces.
