This monolithic steel building of four storeys provides a 9,200 m2 closed area and includes seminar rooms, lecture halls, computer labs, a cafeteria and other facilities serving 1,700 students. A recess in the structure creates a wide green area in front of the building at the centre of the campus and central galleries flow into each other, providing social interaction opportunities. The contrast between the simplicity of the building form and the flexibility of interior space organisation is the main feature of the design. The visibility of the steel construction and building systems, the controlled use of daylight and the transparency of a double facade are the main characteristics of the building.
