Khaneh Hamayesh Art and Cultural Centre

This multi-functional conference and cultural centre was commissioned by a private-sector client, who wanted to address the problem of a lack of well-equipped, technologically advanced facilities in Tehran for conferences, seminars and events in the medical, artistic and cultural fields, could be held simultaneously. The complex maximizes the limited floor space with the use of simple design for the interior spaces and each floor has bathrooms and reception and waiting areas. There are two basement floors, the first with vehicle parking and the second with a mechanical room and industrial kitchen, which utilize 100 percent of the land area to work around the space constraints of the dense, urban setting.
