The Metlili Middle School is situated on 300 acres near the town of Metlili. The school was designed for 600 students. Its program includes classrooms, administrative offices, services, teachers' housing, and housing for 200 students. Construction materials and techniques follow those established in the region. The building has limestone load-bearing walls. Where possible, double walls were constructed for climate control. Reinforced concrete was used for columns and the spanning structures.
