South Theater (Gerasa)
Jerash, Jordan

The South Theater is the largest of Gerasa's three theaters, with seating for roughly 3000 people. It was completed during the late 1st century or early 2nd century CE. The theater has been partially restored, including the decorated, stone-carved stage.
