Built for a couple who wanted to simplify their lives and move to this region near the Aegean Sea known for its natural beauty, Citlik House has been designed with a simplicity and clarity of materials and to merge the interior spaces with the nature all around. The building is composed of three elements: concrete, aluminium-framed windows, and natural wood. The L-shaped ground floor is composed of two spaces divided by stairs, with dining room, kitchen and living space, the relationship between indoors and outdoors defined by open spaces and transparent facades. The first floor has private living quarters with a three metre cantilever situated over the kitchen.
