This small two-storey building houses a vocational training center teaching bread-making in the village of Kelle sur Mer in Senegal. Built on a tight budget with the help of volunteers from the local community, the long, narrow building was guided by the shape of the plot. The ground floor contains two classrooms and two workshops that have large openings overlooking the common corridor that extends along the length of the building, serving as a filter area for flows and the circulation of air. An external courtyard contains a staircase that leads to the second level, which houses a large classroom and terrace. The two levels can be used independently if needed.
