This two-storey building is divided into two sections: an external geometrical, stand-alone concrete shell that envelopes the inner structure. The width of the geometrical pattern changes according to the direction of the sun, controlling the temperature and light of the space. The entire internal surface is aligned with the direction of sun and wind, to further assist in temperature control. The main entrance is highly defined by a cut pattern. There are two staircases at the centre of the building rising to the main exhibition space on the first floor, which displays artifacts related to the development and history of applied science.
