A recreational space for students at the main campus of this prestigious business school within the University of Karachi campus, the Student Centre is built to encourage social interaction through the provision of double-height open spaces and student lounges where students can gather. Overlooking the cricket and football grounds, the building also houses computer labs, offices, a gymnasium and badminton courts, and a dining hall and coffee shop. Its structure, two tapered triangular masses that intersect, was guided by the placement of an amphitheater on the roof of the building, which also resolved the space constraints. The amphitheatre section includes a performance area, green room, changing rooms, and toilets.
