The private residence is located on a hill overlooking Pristina and comprises open-plan living, kitchen, and dining areas, as well as five bedroom-suites with terraces, an exercise room with jacuzzi and saunas, a cinema, and garage and technical areas. The client gave paramount importance to safety and security even while requesting open, light-filled interiors connected closely to exterior landscaped terraces and views over Pristina and the mountains beyond. The architectural form was inspired by fustanella, the traditional costume worn by Albanian men, and the movement of fabric whilst men dance.
