In an exclusive residential area of Lahore, the centre provides facilities for social gatherings and political functions for the community residents. It contains three reception halls on the ground floor that can be opened into a single hall accommodating 900 guests; a reception hall for 500 guests is on the upper floor; an additional hall is located in the basement; and a separate block on the ground floor contains kitchen and catering facilities. The winning entry in an architectural competition, the architect’s design draws from the colonial architecture that characterised the earliest homes in the community. The project includes extensive landscaped and parking areas.
