1959-62 Survey

Called Round Well V of Tughluqābād Fort. Located in the northern part of the fort’s city area. Grid ref. J-13

This well has completely collapsed but can be thought to have had the same shape as Round Well I of Tughluqābād Fort. Period II.

この井戸は,現在では,くずれてしまっているが,おそらくは,トゥグルカーバード城砦内の円井戸Ⅰと同じ形式のものであったろう。第Ⅱ期。

2015-18 Survey

This area has become urbanized, and the well could not be found. It is located north of W4 and east of W3. There are drawings from the 1959-62 surveys that show that there were probably stairwells on the north, east, west and south sides, though the west had fallen. The steps on the north are straight, with a room shaped like the room in W4. On his map, Shokoohy identifies six wells inside the city of Tughluqabad and provides a photo of W6. He writes that W6 was turned into a small shrine and that steps led to the shaft of the round well.

現在は、市街地となり、確認することはできなかった。W4の北、W3の東に位置する。1959-62年の調査による図面が残され、西は崩れているものの、おそらく東西南北に階段室があり、北の階段はまっすぐで、部屋がある。その形は、W4の記述と同様である。

Shokoohyは市街地図の中に、Tughluqabad市内の6つの井戸の位置を記載し、W6の写真を掲載する。W6について小祠堂に転用されているとし、円井戸のシャフトに続く階段があることを記す。
