Round Well 6th at Tughluqabad (Mission for Indian History and Archaeology)
New Delhi, India

1959-62 Survey

Called Round Well VI of Tughluqābād Fort. Located in the northwestern part of the fort’s city area. Grid ref. J-13

Only a small part of the stonework remains by an arch-shaped structure. Because the stonework forms an arc, it is possible that it was once part of a round well. Period II.

2015-18 Survey

This area has become urbanized, and the well could not be found. It is located north of W3 and coincides with the location of one of the six wells inside the city of Tughluqabad on the Shokoohy map. In Delhi, there are some doubts as to whether it was really a round well.
