2015-18 Survey
This structure is used as a mosque and madrasa. The front courtyard where T109 is located has been paved with stones, and there is an ASI preservation signboard on the north side of the plinth. The walls from the east gate to the turrets in the corners have been rebuilt with rough stones, but the restoration work of the northeast section has been destroyed and a new gate erected in recent years. The turret in the southeast corner is a replica. The overall shape of the east gate has not changed, but the stucco relief has been lost, rough stones were used in the rebuilding, and the steps have been reconstructed. As the wall mosque has been painted thickly in green and white, and given a lean-to roof that reaches the west facade of T109 to create a covered space, only the exterior looks like it did in the past. The interior has been newly created and there is no trace of the wall mosque. The west (back) surface, the turrets, and the center projections remain as exposed rough stonework, but the east surface has been obscured in paint.
