The hotel is on Jerba, an island in Tunisia, and can house 500-700 holiday guests. The layout is made up of two sections with rooms, and a communal centre containing bars, restaurants, meeting rooms, and other common facilities. All rooms in the communal area continue into the outdoors with pergola covered terraces. The room-wings are part of a terraced layout with balconies in front of the rooms. The building complex was built by local workmen, and is of concrete block, manufactured in-situ. All rooms are roofed with brick vaults, constructed without formwork.
