The hotel is situated on the beach between two palm groves and next to Salalah city. It serves as an official reception building and provides lodging in its 100 guestrooms for the newly developing tourist business. In its massing, the hotel consists of a central, public area flanked by two guestroom wings. The central pavilion contains the entry court, in the style of an Arabic garden, and all public and reception facilities. The gallery bordering the central block at the back makes the link to the swimming pool and its terrace. The construction is a reinforced concrete structure with concrete walls infill, plaster finish interiors and painted exterior walls.
