The high school and teacher's training complex is the first phase of the future National Education Center. It occupies a large, open site and consists of five main buildings:
-a teachers' school consisting of five blocks linked by covered passages;
-the high school, a group of three parallel classroom blocks and a gymnasium;
-an open amphitheatre;
-a five-storey dormitory; and
-teachers' houses
The high school for 1200 pupils also provides lodging for 900 of them in the dormitories. The teachers' houses consist of 14 semi-detached houses. The open-air amphitheatre has a hexagonal roof structure and accommodates 1200 people.
