This project includes 100 laboratories, 50 classrooms, 10 amphitheatres, a 600-seat auditorium, a forum, exhibition spaces, a library, a centre for innovation and development, and a computer centre. It is the result of an architectural competition won by a Tunisian-French group in 1991. It will provide training and continuing education to 2'000 students with 300 faculty and 250 administrative and technical staff.
