Abha Sports Center, as part of a governmental programme for the creation of sports and recreational facilities, comprises:
a) a stadium with a total capacity for 20.000 spectators;
b) a gymnasium, including a central sports hall surrounded by raked seating and support facilities;
c) a swimming hall with a main pool, children's pool and support facilities; and,
d) a youth hostel comprising two identical two-storey dormitory blocks, a multi-purpose room, an auditorium, a mosque, dining facilities, administration offices, a library, and support functions.
