With a focus on societies in which Muslims are or have been a significant cultural presence, Archnet’s mission is to provide ready access to quality, unique texts and media that facilitate excellence in teaching, scholarship, and professional work. Since it was originally launched in 2002 Archnet’s digital library has grown considerably.&nbsp;Moreover, Archnet has developed a well established reputation as a reliable authority and useful tool for teaching and learning about the built environment of Muslim societies, past, and present. The new bank's headquarters consists of one 52-storey tower and two 36-storey towers, designed by Swanke Hayden Connel Architects and completed in 2000. The interior design of the 50,795 square metre facilities by Hillier New York (HNY) includes an 800-seat theatre, an exhibition gallery, and a reception hall in addition to 30 floors of office space equipped with the latest technology.
