The project covers 680 square metres on two and half levels and incorporates private and public lounges, restaurants, and services. Built with traditional local materials, the "Admiral Club" forms part of the Ritz/Carlton Hotel & Resort in Doha. The interior and exterior finishes are brightly coloured, and the windows are tinted and insulated, with aluminium frames. A visible equilibrium was struck between traditional and modern architecture, with the entrance side to the club reflecting more traditional Islamic designs, and a waterside area that is based more clearly on the modern marina concept.
