A new single-storey building, used by a multi-national biotechnology company, comprising 1,060 square metres of office space and laboratories. Roofs and walls are heavily insulated and flexible air-conditioning was introduced to lower energy consumption. Principal building materials are concrete, glazing, aluminium, hardwood, steel, slate, pebble-wash, and ceramic. Steel beams, glazing, custom aluminium, and timber works were locally cut and assembled. An internal garden, typical of tropical architecture, can be seen through the glass-enclosed foyer.
