The footprint of this distinctive mosque is circular, formed by a central pillar from which wooden poles radiate like the spokes of an inverted umbrella to support the thatched roof. The interior, on the other hand, resembles the prayer hall of a hypostyle mosque, with wooden posts serving as pillars dividing the interior space into rows and aisles.
