Neve Shalom / Wahat al-Salam is an Arab-Jewish village whose members choose to live in an egalitarian community based on mutual respect and cooperation. In place of a mosque or a synagogue they have a Pluralistic Spiritual Centre for religious and interfaith activities. Its focus is a large domed prayer hall - a precise square without any specific orientation, designed for believers of all religions. It also contains a library, meeting rooms and a study hall. The building's modest form and use of local stone places it firmly in the local vernacular tradition.
