Planned around a central atrium, this ten storey building accommodates a retail mall, hotel and commercial offices located in the cloth and garment district of Tehran. Street frontage on four elevations allows dedicated access to each building use through separate entrance halls. Site lines of retail units are maximised through setbacks on three elevations allowing views into basement levels. Second floor roof terraces provide amenity space to hotel guests. The seismically designed concrete- framed building is clad with silver aluminium panels. Wider spans between columns and omission of beams are achieved through using a mushroom slab construction. The building is fully air-conditioned.
