The Administrative and Business Centre is located in the Alabuga special economic zone (SEZ) near Elabuga in the Republic of Tatarstan. The original building was constructed in 1991 and later reconstructed during wall-strengthening works. The Centre is composed of two buildings with entrances opening onto the SEZ territory. One building is of seven storeys while the second provides two storeys and basement. Modern facing materials, including composite aluminium facing panels, glass and a stained glass system by Schueco are used externally, giving the building a high-tech aesthetic.
