The brief set out the requirement to convert a retail and office building into an 80-bed boutique hotel. Keeping the foundation and stripping the concrete were stipulated from the start. The entrance hall, reception and café are located at ground level, opening onto Gazi Boulevard. Upper floors include an enclosed swimming pool and planted roof terrace. The glass and metal facade building sits on a solid stone base externally. The carefully detailed stone features with other natural materials inside the building. It is intended that neighbouring buildings will be encouraged by the presence of the hotel.
