Key Projects that triggered the regeneration of the historical Fardi (Zafer) Street included four key projects: a former wedding gown store and grape warehouse that was restored to be used as the HIC Restaurant; a former Greek Mansion that was restored as an eight-bedroom hotel at the heart of the historical town; a smaller Greek House that was restored as a two-bedroom hotel and restaurant; and a former Greek Mansion located within a plot of 1600 m2, which was restored to its original state and is currently used as an art gallery and cafe. All the restorations illustrate the will of local inhabitants to keep alive the memory of their Greek-Turkish backgrounds.
