1959-62 Survey
Called Round Well III of Tughluqābād Fort. Located in the center of the fort’s city area, slightly to the east. Grid ref. J-13
This is a round well with a diameter of 6 m, the west part completely in ruins. The bottom of the well is now buried in the earth, leaving a depth of approximately 6 m. On three sides (north, east, south), there are underground stepped passages leading from the ground to the inside of the well. At the end of the passages are arch-shaped openings approximately 2 m in height for people to draw water. The north side has a small room approximately 4 m wide in the middle of the straight underground passage, but there are turns in the east and south passages. It can be thought that the collapsed west side too originally had a passage of the same type as the east and south. Period II.
トゥグルカーバード城砦内の円井戸Ⅲとよぶ。同城砦の都市地城の中央部分の,やや東寄りのところにある。附図.J-13
この井戸は,直径6メートルの円井戸で,西側の部分がまったく崩壊しており,底部もまた埋もれているが,現在では,深さ約6メートルである。北・東・南の三面には,地表から井戸の内側に通じる,階段をもった地下の通路が設けられており,この通路の末端は,高さ約2メートルのアーチ型の水汲場となっている。北側には,真直ぐに降りる地下の通路の途中に,幅約4メートルの小部屋がもうけられているが,東側と南側の通路は曲折している。崩壊した西側にも,おそらくは,東側・南側と同じ形式の通路が存在していたものと思われる。第Ⅱ期。

2015-18 Survey
W4 is located north of a large mosque. This area has become urbanized, and the well could not be found. According to Delhi, there were steps on the north, east, west, and south; there was a room on the north. The round shaft had arch-shaped openings, which are thought to have led to the stairwell. On his map, Shokoohy identifies six wells inside the city of Tughluqabad and provides a photo of W6.
W4は大モスクの北に位置する。現在は、市街地となり、確認することはできなかった。『デリー』の記述によれば、東西南北に階段を設け、北には部屋があった。円形シャフトに、アーチ型が穿たれ、ここが階段室に当たったと推察される。Shokoohyは市街地図の中に、Tughluqabad市内の6つの井戸の位置を記載し、W6の写真を掲載する。
